Teaching Philosophy
Jane
B. Ford is a dedicated and experienced nonprofit teacher who believes that the
health of an organization is reflected in committed boards, dedicated volunteers, skilled staff, and
strong balance sheets.
She
has helped hundreds of board members better understand their roles and
responsibilities in governing organizations they believe in. Jane is committed to ensuring that people who
volunteer their time to serve on nonprofits both understand their
responsibilities and serve their organizations with joy and passion.
Fundraising
is a key board responsibility and Jane believes that people can enjoy raising
money for causes they believe in – once they understand the process. With more than thirty years of successful experience in working with community-based and faith-based
nonprofits, Jane shares her skills, knowledge and successes with boards and
staffs of nonprofits who want to ensure the fiscal stability needed to support their organizations.
